The pharmacy

A community pharmacy, run like one

Annandale Village Pharmacy has been part of the village strip for years, and it still works the way a local pharmacy should. You walk in, you talk to a pharmacist, you get an answer.

Our pharmacists are trained immunisers and accredited to assess and treat uncomplicated urinary tract infections under the NSW pharmacist prescribing framework. That means a flu shot, a UTI consultation or a blood pressure check is a walk-in, not a referral and a wait.

Beyond the dispensary we pack Webster packs weekly, arrange Home Medicines Reviews with an accredited pharmacist, run travel vaccination consultations, weigh babies free of charge and deliver at no cost within Annandale.

Common questions

Questions people ask before coming in

Do I need an appointment?

For almost nothing. Vaccinations, blood pressure checks, baby weighing, pharmacist advice and UTI consultations are all walk-in, any time we are open. Ring ahead only for travel consultations and Webster pack setups.

Can a pharmacist treat me without seeing a GP first?

For some things, yes. We assess and treat uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women aged 18 to 65 under the NSW pharmacist prescribing framework, and vaccinate without a referral. Anything outside that scope, we refer you to a doctor and say so plainly.

How long will my script take?

Usually a few minutes. Bring the paper in or forward your eScript token and it is generally ready while you have a look around. Anything we need to order is normally in the next business day.

Can I move my scripts from another pharmacy?

Yes, and it is straightforward. Bring in your repeats, or tell us where they are held and we will sort it out with you. There is no paperwork on your side and nothing to cancel. Most people who switch to us do it one script at a time and never go back.
