Walk in, no appointment

All of our pharmacists are trained immunisers, so you do not need to book and you do not need to see a GP first. Come in any time we are open, seven days a week, and if the dispensary is quiet we will take you straight through to the consultation room.

You will be asked a short set of screening questions, you will get the vaccination, and then we ask you to stay in store for fifteen minutes afterwards so we can keep an eye on you. That is the whole thing.

What we vaccinate for

Seasonal influenza, COVID-19 boosters, whooping cough (pertussis), measles-mumps-rubella, meningococcal, shingles and pneumococcal vaccinations are all available in store, subject to age and eligibility criteria. Some are free under the National Immunisation Program, so ask us and we will check your eligibility rather than guess.

Flu season in the Inner West

April and May are the sensible months to get your flu shot in Sydney. Early enough to be covered before the season peaks, late enough that protection holds through it. We run through a lot of vaccine in those weeks and families from Annandale, Leichhardt, Lilyfield and Forest Lodge tend to come in together, so mornings mid-week are quietest.

We report every vaccination to the Australian Immunisation Register, so it appears on your immunisation history statement without you doing anything.
